About Us

The NZ Trauma Recovery Trust is a dedicated and committed team of NLP Master Practitioners and Trainers who will be traveling to Samoa in February 2010 to carry out NLP Trauma Training and NLP Trauma Therapy for those either directly or indirectly affected by the September tsunami.

Our aim is twofold. One is to train the specialists in the medical and mental health professions in areas of disaster in the NLP Trauma Process. This will then be backed up by providing in-field support for the people we have just trained.

Our other aim is to carry out one on one therapeutic work for anyone suffering from trauma and or grief where it is necessary and appropriate.

Our Mission

Is to help people heal themselves from trauma so in turn they can begin rebuilding their lives and communities, and get back their quality of life.

Our Purpose

Provision of psychological disaster and trauma recovery services using Neuro Linguistic Programming methodologies, including one-on-one therapy with victims of events of trauma or disaster, group training and in-field support for trainees in the use of Neuro Linguistic Programming.

Our Values

Integrity and Professionalism with everything we do
Respect for those we work with and for
Selflessness
Passion for what we do
Growth of others and ourselves
Care of ourselves and our clients
Flexibility to deal with all situations and cultures
Cultural sensitivity and respect

Meet the Team

Each member of the Trauma Recovery Team has undertaken formal NLP Training to ensure they are at the required level to be a part of the team. The minimum requirement to be a part of the team is to be certified to NLP Master Practitioner level.

All of the team have either their own NLP based private practices or NLP based training businesses here in New Zealand. We have all trained under various NLP Trainers and Master Trainers in New Zealand and internationally, and combined bring many years worth of real-life NLP application and knowledge to the project.

Asenati was born in Samoa and migrated to New Zealand with her family at the age of 9.  She is married with a chatty 7 year old son and a lovely old cat.
